Traditionally bottles are shaped depending on what grapes are used in the wine and are specific to a particular area.

It’s seems like wine has become very gourmet. It stylish to drink a good bottle of wine.

Many wine bottle shapes are a tradition of the region where the wine is produced, rather than identifying the brand. Bordeaux wine always comes in a bottle with straight vertical sides that abruptly curve into the neck of the bottle. Other wine regions may use a bottle that gently tapers to the neck.
