I would look for a nice pinot noir – it’s light enough to go with the chicken but heady enough to pair with the steak. I don’t recommend Arbor Mist though – that is not a true wine, it’s a mix of wines, usually with fruit juices, and it’s very sweet. You’re looking for something a little on the drier side than that. And you can easily find a nice bottle of wine within your price range! You will find you have a lot of choices!
Pinot Noir is a very versatile wine that matches well with many foods. At the $20-$25 range you will be able to find some really nice ones. Definitely stay away from the sweet wines. They will not go well with steak. Also, there may be some other good choices depending on how the meats are prepared – grilled, plain, with sauce (if so, what kind). Pairing food and wine can e complicated but a Pinot Noir would probable be pretty safe.

My all time favorite wine Arbor Mist Wild Berry Pinot Noir.
Not expensive, about 7 bucks a bottle, but it is really good!!!
