Yes it’s a small amount of liquor – pump enough for your baby to have milk for that evening and the next morning – then you’ll be just fine to have some cocktails!

Yes is Liquor, most wine coolers have between 3.5-5.5% alcohol… they do sell non alcoholic wines just incase you want to drink

It is wine. Wine IS liquor. DO NOT nurse your baby after you have been drinking! Pump what baby will need, and refrigerate or freeze it. Alcohol will get to your baby through the milk. Any amount of liquor is too much for a baby.

If the label says "wine cooler" it is wine. If it says just "cooler" it is fermented malt.
And you can safely drink in moderation while nursing. There are absolutely no recorded FAS cases of children of women who drink just moderately and never to excess.

Well, alcohol is alcohol irregardless of how it was created.
Most wine coolers use either a grape based (wine) or malt based (beer) alcohol for their formulation. A lot of it depends on tax law from state to state. They will make a different formulation for a state to avoid penalties.

The bottles of wine coolers you buy in the store are usually called malt beverages.
