Wine cooling,I’m not a huge wine drinker. I don’t like dry wines, or wines that have a lingering bad taste. I would also prefer a wine that has a very fruity taste to it, almost like a wine cooler. What is a wine that fits this description?

White zinfandel seems to be popular with people who aren’t big wine drinkers.
Another one you might like is this one I tried recently:

It’s a white wine called "New Age", and it’s bubbly, kind of fruity, and very refreshing. You serve it cold, over a slice of lime. I bought a bottle for $10 so it’s not too pricey either.
If you don’t like those suggestions, most stores should have someone who’s able to give you suggestions.

I would say white wine.

Champagne or Cava perhaps too dry for you although you can get semi-sweet ones. Or try Sherry – that’s often fruity.

Sweet wine is usually white, zinfandel or riesling. In red I only drink the Lambrusco (Riunite), which is sweet and will give you a great buzz after the 1st 16 ounce cup.
I usually don’t drink wine because like you I hate dry wine!

Problem solved: Purchase a Good bottle of a Robert Mondavi ‘Merlot’ and you will become a big wine fan
Hope this helps !!!

You could try the Arbor Mist brands. they don’t have a very high alcohol content(somewhere between ‘real’ wine, and a wine cooler) and often have very fruity flavors.
If you’re looking for more traditional wines, I’d suggest moscatos, rieslings, and white zinfindels. I typed those out in order of what I consider to be the sweetest to the least sweet.

White Zinfandel, or Blush is a good choice if you don’t like the taste of most wines (they are pink and served cold).
Rieslings are white wines that are sweet, they taste a bit more "wine-y" than the sugary pink wines like White Zin, but are served cold as well.
The sweetest red wine is Lambrusco, also served cold, it has a very slight effervescence.
There are some delicious ice wines out there too – they are sweet and cold as well.
Happy drinking!

Hi Renee,
I would chose Rose-wine or champagne.
They are both nice wines for beginners to wine.
Choose one, with plenty of fruit, and make sure – it has the right temperature, when you taste it.
Also, spent money on it, dont buy cheap.
Enjoy, LASSE
