I’ve tried some and they all taste real strong. Is there a recommendation for a good fruity wine thats doesnt that isnt so harsh. Something to help me devolop a taste for wines so i can try them all.

Just about any White Zinfidel. If you are looking for fruity do not buy a wine that says it is dry.

rhine is sweet….the white or lite pink ones seem much more mild, than the deep red wines…

a good white wine would be yellow tale riesling. or chateau st.michelle riesling. the yellow tale is a little dry but in a fruity kind of way. oh also columbia winery makes a good apricot reisling. and you can always go with a mascot they are really fruity and sweet. i love white wines because of the sweet and fruitiness.

If you have never had wine, you need to start with the lighter tasting wines. For whites, try:
Sauvignon Blanc
Riesling
Vidal
There are some nice Rose wines out there as well that you could try but I would stay away from White Zinfandel – it generally tastes like cotton candy. The best rose’s come from Europe, especially Portugal and Spain, and, since it is summer, your local liquor stores should have a nice selection.
If you want to try red wines, the best light and fruity ones are:
Merlot
Beaujolais
Gamay Noir
Once you have developed a taste for these wines than you can move on to more heavier and complex wines. Hope these suggestions help.

Well, in my house, tequila is a wine. And a wine I have, gratefully, been able to abstain from for over 7 years.
