What could I use wine racks on my entertainment center for besides alcoholic drinks?

I have 6 large semi-circle cut-outs in one of the cubbies of my entertainment center where I suppose wine bottles are supposed to go, but I don’t drink. I’d prefer if the ideas thought up remained cylindrical to fit. let the ideas be as bizarre or off-beat as you want.

Paper towel rolls? Clear bottles filled with interesting esthetically pleasing things like layers of dried beans, peas, lentils etc? Rolled up place mats? Spare socks? A matching set of flashlights? Old bottles with dried or fresh flowers in them? If they are set vertically, make little bean bags and toss them!
Whatever you decide, thanks for posting this..it was fun to think of things to use the space for :)

It may not be aestetically pleasing, but rolled up newspapers or magazines. Maybe even soda cans?

You could use them for grape juice that are in bottles like wine.

    1. Use it for non-alcoholic bottles of drinks. Like Martinellis.

    2. It can also hold oils, vinegars and other cooking essentials.

    3. Use it to hold your favorite magazines. Just roll them up and stash them in the compartments.

    4. It can be used to hold hand towels or corral curling irons, hair dryers and bath products (but probably not exactly an entertainment center centerpiece).

What an awesome question! I have this same problem in my kitchen and have been thinking of what to do with the area for a couple weeks. So I really like the dish towel idea above. But that is for the kitchen. We need ideas for the living room …

For decorative purposes, you could store large pillar candles. Go with a color theme. That’s all I got! lol
