Wine storage,To incorporate I need an address (can’t be a PO Box), and I’m storing my wine in a temperature controlled rental storage unit. I’m not sure I can use THAT address b/c it’s not really mine. And for my Alcohol Permit I need an address that isn’t a home address. What can I do? Could I set up the Storage Place as my Corporate address and then set up a separate mailing address (PO Box)? Thanks for any help.

Could you legally use a commercial mailbox rental like Mailbox Etc where the address would be a street address with a commercial box number after the address rather than just a box number? Or a less famous one that might not cost as much?
If you use this idea, be sure to print the address properly when using it because the post office got a law passed several years ago that requires a specific abbreviation to use for these types of boxes so people know that their mail is going to a commercial mailbox. This was because so many businesses were using the word "suite" in front of their box numbers to make the address sound like an office.
I strongly suspect that any storage space company will prohibit their address from being used as your business address.
There are businesses in every state that charge a fee to other businesses from other states that want to register to do business in that state to act as their corporate office and registered agent within that state to satisfy government requirements. Since they have one office and no doubt thousands of companies as customers, the fee they charge might end up cheaper than a commercial mailbox where they don’t have that volume. Here’s an example of one company that does this type of thing. You can call them and find out if they know for certain that what they do would satisfy your alcohol permit requirements. This company has been around for many years:

Certainly the government alcohol sales permit office can confirm if this arrangement is OK or not for getting their permit but I always have trouble trusting low-wage government workers who answer telephones. If I were in your shoes, I’d read their guidelines or find the law that underlies their rules real carefully to confirm one way or the other exactly what the requirement is for sure.
