Wine storage,Hello all,
Today I purchased 60 bottles of wine for an upcoming event about 6 weeks out. I don’t have a basement or a wine cooler so I want to make sure that they wont cork in the meantime. We’re in Southern California so the house is always around 75-80 degrees. They’re on their side, not in sunlight, and not exposed to vibration. Will the temperature be a problem?

Red wine, or white?
Either way, it shouldn’t be a huge issue, over 6 weeks. However, if you are talking about some quality whites, you may want them to stay a little colder, more like 65 or so.
