If the corks dry out, air will get in and the wine will oxidize.

No, wine should be in a climate controlled, somewhat cool location.

NO NO NO don’t do it. Wine should be kept in a cool dark place. A hot shed in the summer will kill that wine.

Wines should be kept in a cool dark place, specifically protected from temperature variables. If your collecting the wine for it’s labels it might be OK. If your collecting it to drink the quality wine in the bottles, storing it like this will do more harm than good.

Not a good idea. Do you have a basement? Or at least a closet?

All your answerer’s are correct. Wine (especially red) needs to be stored at 55-60 degrees (according to wine gurus). Also with the cork end down at an angle to keep the cork from drying out. Take care of it now or you’ll cry later.
