Wine cooling,The fine print on the main label says malt beverage. But the print on the label around the neck of the bottle says flavored beer. Are those the same? If it is really beer, why are they called wine coolers when there is no wine in them at all?

A malt liquor means it’s that it’s fermented with some grains so it’s like beer but it’s not beer a wine cooler is like boones farm with 7 up

It’s something else. Actually think of it a wine with 7up.

well it is a malt beer with flavors simmilar to fruit wines. so that way beer drinkers and trailor trash can have something that tastes sophisticated (sorda). most beers are made with malt hops suger and water. take out the hops and you have a malt beverage (or a b!tch beer) but it is technically a beer because it is brewed as such. then they flavor it to taste like a fruit flavored wine.

Wine cooler is much like a weak wine… it is a fruity flavored drink that does have a low alcohol content, and it is most likely the comparison to the alcohol content that causes them to class it with beers. Most are 5 – 8% alcohol, I think. They base it not on what the liquid is, but what the alcohol content is.
It is something else.

Sounds NASTY! throw it out and buy either a bottle of wine or a 6 pack of some decent beer like Heineken. That malty wine might send you blind ..

Actually most wine coolers are repulsive. You can make your own wine spritzer and be closer to what you want. Pick your favorite wine, semi sweet to sweet often works best. Mix one third 7 up to 2 thirds wine. Pour soda first, then add wine. Gently swirl with drink stir or spoon, enjoy. Cool, light, crisp. Great in summer!
