Watch for the word "crystal" on the label or box. In the United States, glass that contains 1% or more lead is considered crystal.
If there is a high content of lead in the wine glass, there will probably be a label on the box, or glass, indicating the % of lead. Such as "12% lead". Companies are usually pretty good about disclosing the lead percentage as leaded glass is more expensive that glass.
