How can I keep boxed wine cool at a picnic? I believe the box will get soggy if I put it in a cooler with ice

Put your ice in plastic bags and seal them.

you can take the bag out and just use it to pour. we did that in college. Meaning take the bag out of the box and put it on ice

yes I admitted to drinking box wine..LOL

open the box and put ice packs in it and reseal it.

Dry ice works well for these applications.

Usually there is a bag inside the box. Remove the bag from the box and place in a cooler of partially melted ice. This also works well for saving space while camping, except you can use a cold lake or river if you don’t have a cooler. Just be sure to tie your wine to something secure so it won’t float away if you use the lake/river method.

I would pour it out into glass containers, before putting on ice.

    Good day,
most bow’s(box of wines) are wax coated… don’t worry fill those plastic cups and drink up.

Put an ice pack into plastic bag, maybe do about 2-4 all in separate bags (depends on how quick and how cold you want the wine), then put the bags into your cooler bag. When you have done this put the wine box into a plastic bag and put it in the cooler bag. Your wine will stay cooler for longer. hope this helps x x

cover your boxed wine with a large zip lock bag and put in cooler (only cool wine coolers and white wine, red wine is meant to drink at room temp.)

Take the bag out of the box!
