Founded in 1880 by Augustus Quitzow and built in 1882, it’s perched on a hillside overlooking Geyser Peak Mountain where geothermal clouds still billow from it’s summit. Geyser Peak winery is located in Geyserville just north of Healdsburg. It is a pioneer of the beautiful Alexander Valley, a well-known region for Cabernet Sauvignon, and produces fruit-forward, food-friendly wines.
