Wine storage,I have about 10 bottles of some Remi Martin XO.
Im not too big of a cognac drinking.
Theyre about 12 years old, wondering if I should just chuck em.
They were a gift from Vegas I thought I could give away or sell, and eventually found their way into storage.
What to do,what to do?
Any suggestions?

They’re just fine…they don’t age, but they don’t go bad, either. To get the most out of them, you can either sell them, or give them as gifts to people who do like Cognac.
Liquors don’t age in the bottle. What’s written on the bottle (12 years, 18 years, etc.) is how long it has aged in a wooden cask. Once it’s bottled, that stops, so it’s considered whatever age it was when bottled. Thus, a 12 year old Cognac bottled in 1970 is still a 12 year old Cognac.
It would be a total waste if you just chucked ‘em.

It tastes like, uh, whiskey, sort of. Remi XO is some of the good stuff. Please send it to me before chucking it!
If you can sell it before you get arrested good luck.
They’d make really excellent gifts to those like me who would really appreciate it. (I’d even pay postage!)
